Every Thursday, our volunteers prepare a community lunch to get you out of the house and have a little fun while you’re at it.

The goal of this service is to counter isolation and promote in-home support. The community lunch is an opportunity to meet others in a friendly atmosphere.

PROCEDURES
All requests must go through the CAB Les Artisans de l’Aide office. We will confirm eligibility using the following criteria:
- Any person experience mild loss of autonomy due to age, illness or handicap.
- Any person living at home alone with no social contact.
- Open to residents of the RMC of Deux-Montagnes and Mirabel South.
- If the individual is evaluated and referred by someone in the health and social services network and meets the eligibility criteria, their service request will be accepted.
- If the requestor has not yet been evaluated, an employee from the centre will perform the evaluation. The requestor must also meet the eligibility criteria.
- HLM (low-rent housing) residents and residents of private establishments offering social activities are not eligible to participate.
- Requests must be sent within a reasonable timeframe, so that clients can receive an invitation from a CAB representative.
- A CAB volunteer will provide transportation.
- The cost of the meal, including transportation, is set by the board of directors.
